  • Are all of your questions multiple choice?
No! Throughout the unit quizzes, you will find a range of different questioning techniques to keep your students engaged and demonstrate their comprehension of the subject matter. Question types include: - Multiple Choice - True/False - Short Response - Matching words/images/definitions - Calculations - Missing word replacement - Identification of images/objects - Ordering responses - Drag & Drop responses
  • What if one of my electives is different from what you have written?
I will write the elective unit for you. Just provide the codes of the electives you have chosen for your school, and I will have them up and running for your students.
  • Can students cheat on the questions?
CompAP Theory is an 'open book' style of questioning platform. Students could technically have the theory open in one window while answering the questions in another. Teachers and staff can monitor the amount of time students spend in the quiz, making it easy to see if students have tried to 'beat the system' or find a loophole. All interactions are monitored, from logging in to moving through the theory and quiz screens, so you can easily track their completion and progress.
  • Is CompAP an RTO? Does CompAP issue qualifications at the end of the course?
No. CompAP is purely the supplier of VET theory for the nominated courses. You or your school will be the RTO and therefore in charge of selecting the courses and units you wish to deliver, including the projects you will deliver for your students while they learn. Think of CompAP as an online textbook, providing interactive theory and questioning techniques to establish comprehension from your students.
  • Will our teaching staff/VET teachers need to do any marking?
No marking of the CompAP Theory is required. The platform does all of the marking for you. Each question is marked as it is completed. Students need to achieve 100% on the questions to be deemed 'competent'. They will be given multiple opportunities to achieve the required 100% pass rate. Teachers can then download a full record of their class showing each student, the unit, and the result gained in the questions. You can even break down the report to show which questions were answered correctly/incorrectly and how many attempts were taken by the student on each question.
  • Which courses do you have written?

  • What if my students have additional literacy needs?
The written theory in CompAP provides your students with the opportunity to listen to an audio file while following along with the written text on their screen. Students can listen as many times as necessary until they understand the content, and can choose when they are ready to move on to the next section of theory.
  • What happens when courses and units are updated?
When courses, units and elements are updated on the TGA website, I update the theory to match. This way, you know that you are always current with your theory and Audit ready!
  • Do I need to be an RTO to use your products?
Yes. I have designed the CompAP VET Theory platform specifically for schools who have become their own RTO.
  • Does CompAP control my practical projects?
No. As the RTO, you will retain full control of your practical tasks and projects. Think of the CompAP platform as an online textbook that covers your theory, so that you don't have to worry about it!
