  • Do you offer only multiple-choice questions?
    No, we offer a variety of question types to keep your students engaged and to assess their understanding comprehensively. Our question types include: Multiple Choice, True/False, Short Response, Matching words/images/definitions, Calculations, Missing word replacement, Identification of images/objects, Ordering responses, and Drag & Drop responses.
  • What should I do if my elective is not listed?
    Simply provide the codes of the electives you have chosen for your school, and we will write the elective unit for you, ensuring it is ready for your students.
  • Is it possible for students to cheat on the questions?
    CompAP Theory is designed as an 'open book' platform. While students could technically have the theory open in one window and answer questions in another, teachers and staff can monitor the time spent on quizzes. This makes it easy to identify if students are attempting to 'beat the system.' All interactions are tracked, from logging in to navigating through theory and quizzes, allowing you to monitor their progress and completion.
  • Does CompAP function as an RTO and issue qualifications?
    No, CompAP is not an RTO and does not issue qualifications. We supply VET theory for the nominated courses. Your school will be the RTO, responsible for selecting and delivering courses and units, including projects for your students. Think of CompAP as an online textbook that provides interactive theory and questioning techniques to ensure student comprehension.
  • Do our teaching staff need to mark the CompAP Theory?
    No, your teaching staff will not need to mark the CompAP Theory. Our platform handles all the marking automatically. Each question is marked upon completion, and students must achieve 100% to be deemed 'competent.' They are given multiple opportunities to reach this pass rate. Teachers can download a comprehensive record of their class, showing each student's unit and results. The report can also break down which questions were answered correctly or incorrectly and the number of attempts made by each student.
  • Which courses do you have written?

  • What if my students have additional literacy needs?
    The written theory in CompAP provides your students with the opportunity to listen to an audio file while following along with the written text on their screen. Students can listen as many times as necessary until they understand the content, and can choose when they are ready to move on to the next section of theory.
  • What happens when courses and units are updated?
    When courses, units and elements are updated on the TGA website, I update the theory to match. This way, you know that you are always current with your theory and Audit ready!
  • Do I need to be an RTO to use your products?
    Yes. I have designed the CompAP VET Theory platform specifically for schools who have become their own RTO.
  • Does CompAP control my practical projects?
    No. As the RTO, you will retain full control of your practical tasks and projects. Think of the CompAP platform as an online textbook that covers your theory, so that you don't have to worry about it!
